The Gay & Lesbian Fund was designed to build public awareness of the contributions gay men and lesbians make as a part of American society. It is a program of the Gill Foundation.

Every day, gay men and lesbians support causes and organizations that affect everyone's quality of life and contribute to the building of community. Because there has been no way of identifying this money as coming from the gay and lesbian community, their philanthropy has been largely invisible.

The Gay & Lesbian Fund helps highlight the contributions of gay men and lesbians by contributing to qualified community nonprofits.
