To all our Taste® Friends:
This year we celebrate 18 years of Taste of the Springs®. I
can hardly believe that this event has been so successful for such a long
time.
This year all of the funds we raise go to
Care & Share, Southern Colorado's Food Bank. Remember too, that 100%
of ALL money raised at the event goes to hunger relief! You,
as a purchaser of your ticket, should be happy to know that your money
goes directly to help those in need. I don't believe that there is any
other fund raiser in our town that can say that!
I would like to express my great appreciation to the "Taste"
Committee. They have spent many hours working to insure that this event
is successful. How blessed we are.
Once again, Jim Trujillo, Wine Buyer from Cheers Liquor Mart is helping to make this event an outstanding success. For the third year we have a second event! A six-course dinner, six different wines, all served in the wonderful upstairs room at The Craftwood Inn. Jim, Gov Vaughn of Continental Divide Wines, David Symonds, owner of the Craftwood Inn, and Chef Jeff Knight all worked many hours on this dinner. Thank you!
May I personally invite you to visit the Care & Share warehouse? Come and see how your support of the "Taste" benefits so many people in Southern Colorado. Being a volunteer for this organization has put me face to face with hunger and poverty. I appreciate your support for hunger relief.
On behalf of all the hungry families that will be helped, I thank you.
